Love At Sea is the manuscript where Jody's journey into the romance writing world began. The manuscript is a completed contemporary romance in rough draft form. Her writing has only blossomed since Love At Sea. Although the manuscript has been placed away, she plans to go back someday and breathe new life into it.

In the Distance is a follow-up to Love At Sea and is three-quarters written, with rewrites to be done. Whether or not anything comes of this book somewhat depends on Love At Sea and its rewrite. It may ultimately become its own story with new characters.
